“The Destruction of the Shroud” (TDotS) is my next installment in the “Lands of War Collection“. This book, in my opinion, may very well be the best book I’ll ever write. I love the cast of characters, the development of their goals, ambitions, and desires, as well as their interpersonal relationships.
For anyone who doesn’t know, TDotS follows a group of six people who intend on bringing an ancient assassin organization to it’s knees. Whether it be for freedom, revenge, or justice, they all want the Hallowed Shroud to crumble, each with for own reasons, and they are willing to risk their lives to do it.
I was originally planning to make this book a two-part story, but I have since decided against it. I have done more than one series that splits books apart, and I think it will better suit this adventure if it were completed between a single pair of covers. With that being said, this will easily be the longest book I’ve ever written. I have only just begun to put words to paper, but I’m guessing its going to be securely over 250,000 words. However, the adventure will be worth the effort, as the intertwining narratives and layered character stories are sure to keep your attention through every chapter.
