The Forgotten Tale Series

The history of Paxanthus is just as mysterious as it is rich. Swathes of time pass with the history books recording little, and sometimes the most impressive of tales slips through the cracks of remembered history. Welcome to such a journey: The Forgotten Tale.

This series follows a band of otherworldly heroes who were summoned to combat a threat the Overseer is struggling to content with. He has reached out beyond the borders of Paxanthus and found aid in the far reaches of the universe, summoning five individuals who he believes can save his world from certain destruction.

This series started as a tabletop role-playing game that I ran for my friends in the world of Paxanthus, but it quickly branched into an unforgettable story with characters that were intellectually complex and interesting. As the story grew in scale, it became a canon event, and I started putting it into writing. Years of play later, the tale has finished and the story has drawn to a close. The Forgotten Tale is one of the most interesting periods in Paxanthian history, and a great read for lovers of complex characters and a high-stakes storyline.
