A 9,000 year peace has been kept between the Territories due to the bi-annual tournament held by the Overseer. The tournament allows fighters to get their anger, violence, and hatred towards one another out in an organized fashion. However, this peace is now at risk due to an evil presence stirring underfoot. As the six Academies prepare their top fighters for the tournament, nothing can prepare them for the dangers that lie ahead.
