Varic is mysterious and blunt. Far removed from the morals of righteous men, he still firmly believes as assassin’s life is the life for him. However, his issues lie in subjugation. Varic aims for the top of the order, and has no plans of abolishing the Hallowed Shroud. Instead, he aims to control it and mold it to his view of what the organization should be.
Varic comes off as blunt and rude at times, but straightforward delivery and honest opinions are much more valuable to him than sugar-coated words concealing venom. He tells it like it is, no matter the feelings it may hurt, because a man without honesty, even a man who kills for a living, is worthless.
Varic is a master at blending into the shadows, taking a liking to true concealment instead of camouflage. He disappears into the darkness with ease, and strikes his opponents without them knowing he was there, making him an expert at eliminating his targets. But despite his rugged and abrasive personality, he regularly sticks his neck out to protect his allies, an unbecoming characteristic for a man in his profession.
